British Energy

Employees at British Energy are supporting disabled people into training and employment. Set up as part of the company's 'charity of the year' partnership with RADAR, the scheme involves mentors working with disabled people to highlight work opportunities, introduce them to professional networks and share job experiences. Mentors meet their mentees at least four times a year; the relationship can be face-to-face or via email. There are now 24 mentors based at 10 of the company's 11 sites. [i]
